This master-planned housing subdivision is located in the foothills and valleys of North Alabama's Cumberland Plateau. Hampton Cove is a scenic community with a small town feel only minutes from downtown Huntsville.
Hampton Cove contains two elementary schools, Hampton Cove Elementary and Goldsmith-Schiffman Elementary, and a middle school, Hampton Cove Middle School. The students then advance to Huntsville High School, and all four schools fall under the Huntsville City Schools system.
For such a small area, Blossom boasts a fair number of schools: Blossomwood Elementary, Huntsville Middle School, Huntsville High School, and Randolph School; there are also two daycare programs, at First Baptist CDC and First Christian Church Daycare & Preschool.
For those who love nature, there are 20+ miles of paved walkways and sidewalks throughout the community. Hays Nature Preserve is minutes from the entrance of Hampton Cove, and it includes equestrian trails and entry/exit places along the Flint River to go kayaking, paddling, and more. Hampton Cove is also great for those who love golf, as it is a part of the RTJ Golf Trail.
Hampton Cove is unincorporated and shares land with Huntsville and its surrounding areas. It does not have its own zip code, and all services are provided by Huntsville.
